Project O

Visuals for O, a monodrama by Nos Incogniti, 2024

The visuals were part of the project "O" - an interdisciplinary music performance about profound existential questions and reflects Albert Camus' exploration of the absurdity of life. It invites self-reflection on the meaning of life and presents the changing nature of art in our world. The visuals are divided into three acts. They reflect the inner struggle of the main protagonist, who in three attempts tries to perfect her artistic work, battles with idealistic notions, and repeatedly fails until she frees herself from the compulsion.

A spiral shape serves as the starting point for the particle generation. Among other things, two main forces act on the particles: one inward, one outward. By influencing additional parameters, a dynamic struggle between these two forces arises, resulting in a continuously evolving form with a hypnotic effect. The work addresses the themes of conflict and balance of dualistic forces, infinity, and perfection.
