A/V Live Performance

Using pure waveforms as visual input, feedback loops generate continuously evolving textures composed of fragmented temporal moments and shaped by frequency behavior and the oscillatory characteristics of the audio signals. Two performers collaboratively construct a visual composition, negotiating the shared image space in real time.

In this collaborative duo performance based on improvisation, wearable sensor technology is used in violin artistry with the intention of expanding expressive possibilities through the player’s body movements, integrating the acoustic sound of the violin with live electronic processing. Additionally a custom OSC-Touch controller is used to shape and automate electronic soundscapes and modulate visual parameters, enabling an improvisational system that dynamically adapts to the performers.
